The kitchens feature a purpose-built dairy pilot plant. Our dairy plant was commissioned last summer and over the last year we have seen some fantastic products being developed and produced such as non-alcoholic aperitifs, milk style drinks and egg alternative products. The equipment will also support development of kefir style products, yoghurts, sorbets and different types of drinks.
The dairy is fitted with a CIP system (Clean In Place), which means dairy and non-dairy products can be produced in the same environment without cross-contamination of products. Our dairy also has a 2-stage homogeniser, plated heat exchanger, cheese vat, 500L jacketed tank, 250Ltr holding tank and 2 ice cream machines. This equipment makes our facility so versatile and one of a kind! An added advantage is the high care changing room and all associated PPE and cleaning equipment are provided within your hire.
Need to test a new recipe? Need a small batch run? We’ve got you covered. An additional kitchen for busy times? That’s covered too. In addition to the dairy, there are kitchens tailor made for drinks production, a bakery as well as a restaurant style commercial kitchen. They have all been built to a food-grade standard with specialist catering equipment which meet the latest environmental health legislation. There is also a team of technical experts, an on-site coffee shop and business lounge for you to take advantage of too.
