Future Food Partnership CIC aims to be a community interest company working on behalf of Food and Drink businesses to provide access to facilities, support and services that will help the startup, develop and grow their business through the provision of industry knowledge and expertise.

The Future Food Partnership CIC is managing The Food WorksSW site, facilities and services on behalf of North Somerset Council for the benefit of regional food and drink businesses.

From pre start-up to established businesses, The Food WorksSW provide a range of technical and new product development support to a variety of industries. We are primarily focused on the South West however work with businesses across the country, offering food-grade units, product development facilities and an engagement centre to help your company grow by providing a ‘one stop shop’ of facilities and advice.

Russell and Atwell

Steve Russell and Giles Atwell - two entrepreneurs with Chocolate in their veins! After thirty years working on world-famous chocolate brands they left to create their own ridiculously good chocolates. The secret is in using fresh organic double cream instead of palm oil – so you keep their chocs in the fridge! In less than 18 months, they went from Kickstarter to Dragon's Den and can now be found in delis and foody shops around the country and via their website www.russellandatwell.com .

Ellie is the vegan cheesemaker behind Kinda Co. Started in 2017 as a one woman enterprise, based out of a tiny flat in Islington, London and selling at local markets, has now grown to a commercial vegan cheese kitchen in North Somerset.

Ali Briaris is the alchemist behind the alcohol-free beverage brand, The Drinks Kitchen. Ali’s love for wine began with her first job running a wine shop but in the last few years she has found it doesn’t love her back so she started looking for non-alcoholic options. After trying various non-alcoholic alternatives, many of which were imitating alcohol, the Drinks Kitchen brand was created in 2020

Martin Dewey and Alex Brooks are the founders of the highly nutritious meal brand, Field Doctor. Their big mission is to encourage better agricultural practices, counter climate change and help regenerate our planet. While also providing healthy, amazing quality food that’s easy to cook and totally delicious.

The Candy Chemistry brand have applied their flavour microencapsulation technology into a range of retail candy floss products to give an incredible taste sensation not found in any other candy floss ranges. Their Flavour Burst technology locks flavourings into microscopic particles that resist the heat of the candy floss production process. The flavour is released only when the product is consumed, resulting in a burst of authentic flavour.
